When The Time Comes is an intense urban drama from the makers of indie horror hit ‘Midnight Perturbation’
After losing his job, his father and custody of his child, Kareem has enough of being dealt a bad card in life and decides to take control in the most brutal way he can, by kidnapping his boss’s daughter and holding her hostage where if a life changing amount of money is not paid within four hours she will be killed.
Little does he know, the four hour journey, a night ride in and out of London, will induce a bond of empathy for one another that spirals the events of the night further into madness and anarchy.

Originally planned to shoot in 2023, the film was put on hold due to the level of legal work required (permits, locations, safety) and magnitude of the film. Something which Andre Harrison wasn’t prepared for at the time so he opted to create something smaller in the horror genre ‘Midnight Perturbation’ to continue to grow his skills, not just as a filmmaker but in film business aswell.
It was February 2024 when filming a music video with Emily-Alice Sesto, who was originally intended to be the lead in the film, where she mentioned her intention to relocate to another country. Saddened by the news and driven to work with her on a narrative piece again, it fuelled a fire to get the film made.
And six months later. They did
This is the third predominantly self funded feature film by Andre Harrison. With ‘When The Time Comes’ we see a culmination of his knowledge, experience and growth not just with the artistic side of the film but also within the business as a following for his work and style continues to grow and be in demand particularly with audiences in the UK, US and Japan
Friday 13th June the film had it’s first public screening to a sold out audience of 183 attendees
